Individual therapy can be short or long-term depending on a client’s needs. This is assessed during the first few sessions and discussed and agreed on together. I encourage a collaborative approach to thinking about personal growth and challenges that may be worked with in therapy.
In addition to one-on-one therapy, I also offer:
“Pre-marriage/commitment counselling“. This involves comprehensive questionnaires and then an insight-oriented feedback interview based on results and couple session. If follow up support is desired, further sessions can be booked separately.
I also run regular “Mood & Vitality” skills groups (small numbers). These aim to increase skills to manage anxiety and low mood. The MV Group has a practical focus, with the goal of holistic wellbeing. It integrates research and practical skills for health of body, mind and spirit. Groups are more affordable than individual therapy and offer the benefits of support and learning with others. Covid protocols are observed.
